Dear Prospective Students and Parents,
I am so pleased that you are exploring St. Vincent’s Academy through our website!
Welcome to a snapshot of our academically rigorous and historic learning environment. At St. Vincent’s Academy, we recognize these very brief four years in high school are a time of academic, spiritual and intellectual growth, and self- discovery. Our success producing well-rounded, intellectually sharp, confident, leaders extends back to our foundation in 1845.
By attending St. Vincent’s Academy, you will become a part of the Mercy tradition that has been in Savannah for 175 years. The Sisters of Mercy founded our school and continue to guide the mission and values we share with our students. Our multi-dimensional approach to shaping our students serves them well as they step out into the global economy and ever- changing world.
The teachers, faculty, and administration here set expectations high for our students in all areas. In addition to offering a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, our programs are enhanced with a vibrant Fine Arts Department, 11 championship athletic teams, and a multitude of clubs, service opportunities, and extra- curricular activities. I am proud to say that we have a 100% college acceptance rate and last year alone, our seniors received over $6.1 million in scholarships.
